Pumpkin Carving!!

Pumpkin carving has always been a tradition I remember doing with my family forever. I loved doing it so I want to carrying on the tradition with Braelynn. Brett got home from hunting on Saturday so we were able to carve our pumpkins on Sunday. It was so fun. Brett is hilarious to watch. He loves it way more than Braelynn. He is like a little kid. Braelynn dug into the pumpkin a little bit but she just likes looking at the pumpkins and trying to pick them up. There is NO way she can but she grunts and everything because she tries so hard. It was a great day.
After pumpkin carving we spent the rest of the day packing even though we do not know when we can move in. It is okay we had to do something to pass the time until it was dark enough to light our pumpkins.

Getting so so big!!

So Braelynn is getting SO big. We can not believe it. She has started talking a lot and of course copying everything we say. I am trying to get Brett to watch his potty mouth so she doesn't learn anymore naughty words.
This video is of her and her dad counting. However usually she says 2 on her own this time she did not. Brett had to remind her. 2 is the only number she knows so if you ask her how old she is and you say "one" she says "2." We don't know why that is the only one she says, but it is and we usually laugh at her when she says it.

This video is of her being a big girl drinking out of a cup while her mom is trying to take yet another picture. She is so hard to get a good picture of now because as soon as the camera is out she is moving. She thinks she is taking a good picture because she does say "Cheese." However, she isn't looking at the camera. After she says cheese, I have her say what because it is so funny when she says it. It is cute now when you say her name and she says it, but soon she will be getting in trouble for throwing attitude behind it. We are sure of it.

This video is hard to see, but Brett and my dad kept thinking it would be funny to feed Braelynn sour candy. Well they gave her a little piece and it was SO funny. We all died laughing. The funny part was is she kept taking more and more. Finally I went and got the camera, but her face was not near as funny as it was the 1st time.

Braelynn loves books. She has started loving them so much she will just sit by herself and play with them. Sometimes she just sits and mumbles stuff to herself as she turns each page. It is like she is reading it to herself. She will do this for hours if she doesn't think anyone is watching her. You see her look up every now and then to check and see if anyone is watching. We kept thinking she saw us with the camera because she looked right at it.

Go Cowboys!!

Last Weekend we decided to head to Laramie for football game with my parents. I was not excited to go because I knew I would be staying in the hotel room playing with Braelynn with the weather being bad. Plus it sucks making Braelynn ride over there and back for as long as we stay there. However, Brett wanted to go and he talked me into going. I am glad I did now. Brett and everyone had so much fun at the game and Braelynn got to go swimming, so of course she loved the weekend too. Braelynn loves to swim if you don't already know. Actually she loves any kind of water. It was so fun to watch her go from the hot tub and back to the pool without even crying when she got in the freezing pool. She didn't even make a face, but her dad sure did. He said he wasn't playing that game, but guess who ended up doing it anyway. Sorry I don't have many picture and the few I do have didn't turn out great, but I thought I would share anyway.

Happy Halloween!!

Happy Halloween!!
We are getting so excited for Halloween. It will be so fun to let Braelynn dress up and participate this year. She will love showing off I will post more pictures of her in her whole costume after Halloween. She is so funny when she puts on her costume. She makes a cute little elephant sound and everything. We can NOT wait to take her Trick-or-Treating.
We were also getting excited for Halloween because we thought we might be in our house, but it doesn't seem like that is the case now:( Now we might not even be able to close on time. Everyone keep your fingers crossed for us.
Hope you enjoy the pictures. Sorry she wouldn't put down her toothbrush for me to take pictures of her.
