Two is Amazing!!

We honestly have an amazing 2 year old. She never fails to amaze us. She was potty trained right after she turned 2 and we were scared she would have lots of accidents to act out once her new sister was here, but we only had one accident since Brynlee was born and that was because she was to busy playing with everyone here and forgot to come and ask to go potty. Braelynn is at such a fun age right now. She loves to sing at the top of her lungs whenever she is in the tub or shower, loves to wrestle with the dog and most of all ALWAYS know where her baby sister is and give us updates on what she is doing. Don't get us wrong. There are times she drives us crazy. Like when we put her in time out and she laughs and doesn't care that she is in trouble, but we are so lucky to have an amazing 2 year old that makes us laugh more than not. Just the other night she kept trying to talk to her dad and he kept telling Braleynn just a minute I am watching this show. She replies "Dad just record it!" We all busted up laughing. She acts way above and beyond her age, but still is very sweet and uses her manners at most times. 6 straight hours at night and just waking up to eat and go back to sleep for 3 or 4 more. She loves to lay on her tummy and is starting to give us a couple grins now and then, but we haven't been able to catch any on camera because they are so unexpected. She also loves her bath and most of all she loves her FOOD. We love our kids very much and could not ask for easier kids. We did have Braelynn sit down and sing us a few of the songs she knows on video so everyone could see. She knows some more, such as Itsy bitsy spider, but she was over singing for us.

Brynlee Sue Morrison

Sorry it has taken me so long to post this piece. I know it has already been 3 weeks since we had Brynlee, but it has taken me that long to adjust to having 2 kids. It seems like I barely have time to think anymore.
On September 19th at about 11pm I started having contractions. Thank goodness it wasn't any earlier because everyone had stipulations for when I could have this baby. Brett's parents needed us to wait until after the 20th because his mom couldn't get off of work until then and my parents were going to Larmie for the big game on the 18th and didn't want me to go in to labor while they were gone. Brett and I headed for Ogden a little after midnight once my parents showed up to watch Braelynn. However, Braelynn was awake right we left so they soon followed behind since my contractions were so close.
Brynlee Sue Morrison was born on September 20th at 7:23am. She weighed 7lbs 12 oz. and was 20.5 inches long.
It was a very easy labor compared to Braelynn's. We were very excited everything went smoothly. Brynlee is a very sweet baby. She looked so much like Braelynn when she was born, but now she has already changed so much and we aren't sure who she looks like.
Braelynn adjusted GREAT to having a little sister. We were so scared she was going to be having accidents in her pants and acting out, but she loves her little sister so much. We only had one accident in her pants and she only has a little attitude. At least she isn't being mean to Brynlee. Sometimes she is a little too loving. She is constinently wanting to hold her and love on her.
We are so thankful for the new addition to our family. We could not ask for a better kids.

Braelynn being over helpful.

Summer Fun

This summer seriously has flown by. We have not had hardly a spare moment to just sit and relax. We do have a little girl that is pretty well potty trained. We are so stinking proud of her. It really only took us about 2 and 1/2 weeks to get it down packed. We still have to remind her she needs to go sometimes, but I don't mind. It is still way better than diapers.
We have been super busy with our yard. It still isn't done, but thanks to everyone's help we are a lot closer. We have the sprinkler system in and top soil. Now all we have to do is spread out the top soil and put down grass. I will be so excited when we are down with this project. I am sick of the dust.
I uploaded all of our summer pictures at once because we have been so busy it would take me forever to tell you about all of them. We have been camping, fishing, playing at the parks and much much more. Once you see all the pictures you can get a little idea of why I never get on here anymore. Plus our house shows it dramatically. I think we need to start staying home more. I can say it, but it will never happen. We are a family on the go.

Braelynn's Birthday!!

Well almost a month ago Braelynn turned 2. She is such an amazing little girl. We love her so much and don't know what we would do without her. She got so much stuff for her birthday because she is loved by so many people. The amount of stuff she got is ridiculous, but she really acted like she loved everything she got. Even her clothes. Actually her clothes were probably the best present anyone got her. She loves to change clothes and shoes constantly. I added a slideshow because it was the fastest easiest way to get any pictures on here at all. I haven't even had time to go thru them so I am sorry if some of them are horrible. I am sorry this post is so late, but our lives have seriously been nonstop and I know it is only going to get worse with another little one on the way.

Easter!!

We had a terrific Easter weekend!!
Brett played in the alumni tourney in the valley on Friday and Saturday. He loves this tournament. It means everything to him. He waits for it ALL year long. His team didn't win, but they did take second, so they did good. Sorry I forgot the camera both days so no pictures of Brett playing basketball.
Easter Sunday was crazy. First of all Braelynn got WAY too much from the Easter Bunny. Then we did Easter dinner. Which turned out ok:}. We were worried about it. Then we all just hung out and watched Braelynn play the whole day.

13 Weeks

So we are 13 weeks and counting. Here are some pictures of our little one. The first one is it's profile, the 2nd one is just it's back (the doctor was just measuring the length), the 3rd one is an arm with it's little hand and a leg and foot. We are so excited to know what we are having. Luckily we only have 6 weeks and we will know!!!

Long Overdue Update!

It seems like EVERY time I get on here lately to post something I am always apologizing for being so behind. I need to get better about posting stuff again. It just seems we never get 5 seconds to do anything.

Well we have been very very busy lately. We went to Florida over Valentine's Day to watch Brady be blessed and see everyone. It was such a great trip. Braelynn was really sick most the time with soars in her mouth and everything, but she did pretty good with everyone for saying how sick she was. It was great to see Brad, Katie and Brady. Brady has gotten so big and has a way cute personality. It is sad that probably next time we see the little guy he will be walking and talking. While we were down there the weather never was too nice so we didn't get out and do too much. Except one day we did take the kids to the zoo. Braelynn loved all the animals. She is hilarious.

After getting back from Florida, we were home for a week and then headed to the doctor and then off to Mesquite for Nascar!!! I love Nascar. I know I am a hillbilly, but if you went once live you would probably get hooked like me. Austin and Colton flew in and we all a blast.

We just barely got home on Monday and can I say I am extremely behind at work after all my vacationing but it was extremely fun. Now we are trying to get back in the swing of things. Braelynn started swimming lessons on Tuesday. She LOVES it! I took her Tuesday and Brett took her Thursday while I watched since I wasn't feeling the greatest.
I have a ton of pictures thrown together on a slideshow of everything we have been up to and I also have a picture of our new baby!!!! I am ten weeks, and know I have a long time left. But we are so excited! The due date is September 25th and Brett is not pleased with that AT ALL! He is a bow hunter so I am screwing with his hunting time. Darn it!

9 weeks 1 day in this ultrasound!

Getting so big!!

Braelynn has grown up so fast. We don't even know where the time has gone and now we have another one on the way. We are so excited and can wait for what we have in store. I thought I would put up a video of Braelynn saying her shapes and a few pictures of her room. We switched her over to a toddler bed at Christmas. It is so tiny and cute.
I will post more videos as soon as she will let us catch her on video. She is such a smart little girl. She counts to 13, counts to 6 in Spanish, knows her colors and her shapes. She is amazing and we lover her to death.

Sorry it has been so long.

Sorry we have taken a break from blogging. Our lives have just gotten super crazy. I decided that I want to add all the pictures I have taken since I last made a post. We have had a ton of fun lately and just want to share.
Are fun all started by going to Mesquite the weekend before Thanksgiving for Brad and Katie's wedding. We decided that these pictures were so old we weren't going to put them up, but I have to because we had so much fun.
The slide show has pictures of Katie's bachelorette party, a few wedding photos and going out on the town in Vegas. We had such a blast and are so excited Brad found Katie. She is GREAT!

After the wedding we came back to Evanston to spend Thanksgiving in our new home. Randy, Kris, Brad, Katie, & Brady came to spend Thanksgiving weekend with us. We really enjoyed having them stay. Then the Saturday after Thanksgiving, was the Walker family Christmas party at Aunt Teena and Uncle Eddie's house. Santa came and brought all the kids books. Braelynn loved Santa from far away, but as soon as she sat on his lap she freaked.

Once Thanksgiving was over it was time for my birthday. We went out and had a good time, but we forgot to take pictures. The following day Michelle got married. She was such a beautiful bride. Sorry no pictures:( Forgot the camera that day. The weekend after Michelle's wedding we were off to Albuquerque. Wyoming was playing in the New Mexico and when my parents asked us to go we couldn't pass it up. We were so lucky Randy and Kris came to watch Braelynn for us. We had a hard time leaving her. It was the first time we left her for more than just the night. We missed her so much but had a blast. Sorry all the picture are from the bar. I didn't have my camera when Wyoming actually won the game.

Christmas was only 4 days away after we got home, so we had a lot of stuff to get ready. Christmas was such a great time. We did Christmas eve downtown at the Moore family Christmas party. Then Christmas day we celebrated at our house. Everyone came to watch Braelynn open million presents and eat breakfast. Then we went to my parents for Christmas dinner. Braelynn was so fun to watch this year on Christmas and we know next year will be even more fun. This year her favorite gift was light up Dora shoes. As soon as she opened them, she had to have them on. Then she ran around the house looking at her feet all day. Braelynn was spoiled rotten on Christmas. However I think she plays with every toy she has gotten at least once a day.
