Happy Thanksgiving!!

Sorry I have been neglecting my blog lately. As most of you all know, we have moved into our new house. We were having a few issues at first, but they all seem to be worked out now. Besides moving we also went to Brad & Katie's Wedding in Vegas. It was awesome and I will post pictures as soon as Thanksgiving is over. This week we are just trying to get our house put together enough, so the Morrisons can have Thanksgiving at our house!! We are so excited, but scared at the same time. If you don't know I am not the greatest chef. However we will still have a great Thanksgiving because we are spending it with family.
Now what this blog is all about. It was to say what I am thankful for. I am thankful for so many things I don't even know where to start. I and thankful for my husband. He is the greatest person you will ever meet. He will do anything for Braelynn and I. I am thankful for Braelynn. I never knew what joy a child could bring us. She makes our day everyday. I am also thankful for my parents and siblings. They are always there to help me out. They support us in everything we do. They are all amazing people. I am also very thankful my in-laws. Technically I usually don't call them my in-laws. They are really my second family, but for the sake of this they are my in-laws. I am thankful for my in-laws because they are all such great people. I mean that. They are always there to help each other out. I am thankful for my adorable niece and nephew that bring so much joy to this family. They are all amazing people. I am also thankful for our wonderful new house. It has been so great to have our own place after saving up for 2 years. Really I am just thankful for my wonderful life that Brett and I have created together.

Hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving!!

Halloween Weekend

We had such a great weekend. I don't even know where to begin. I guess I will start out by saying how thankful we are to have such great families. We are getting ready to move and everyone is willing to help. Hopefully we will be moving in this coming weekend:)!
This past weekend my mother-in-law was so sweet and drove up her all by herself from Mesquite just to help us start cleaning, so the house would be ready to move in when they tell us we can. Randy had inventory at work all weekend and wasn't able to come with her:( We are so thankful that she came because we were NOT looking forward to cleaning AT all. We also need to thank Aunt Teena for coming over and pitching in too. So thank you both so much. Kris you were so much help you don't understand. We love you so much and are so thankful you were able to come. We can't wait for you and Randy both to come and enjoy our house with us.
After cleaning on Saturday, we took Braelynn trick-or-treating. We had such a cute little elephant. Braelynn had fun going around and getting candy, but she was so worn out by the end. She loved that Aunt Tasha gave her toys instead of candy. She got a cute little tea pot and cups from Aunt Tasha and Uncle Cam that Braelynn & daddy played tea party most the day Sunday. It was so cute. We had such a great weekend.

Pumpkin Carving!!

Pumpkin carving has always been a tradition I remember doing with my family forever. I loved doing it so I want to carrying on the tradition with Braelynn. Brett got home from hunting on Saturday so we were able to carve our pumpkins on Sunday. It was so fun. Brett is hilarious to watch. He loves it way more than Braelynn. He is like a little kid. Braelynn dug into the pumpkin a little bit but she just likes looking at the pumpkins and trying to pick them up. There is NO way she can but she grunts and everything because she tries so hard. It was a great day.
After pumpkin carving we spent the rest of the day packing even though we do not know when we can move in. It is okay we had to do something to pass the time until it was dark enough to light our pumpkins.

Getting so so big!!

So Braelynn is getting SO big. We can not believe it. She has started talking a lot and of course copying everything we say. I am trying to get Brett to watch his potty mouth so she doesn't learn anymore naughty words.
This video is of her and her dad counting. However usually she says 2 on her own this time she did not. Brett had to remind her. 2 is the only number she knows so if you ask her how old she is and you say "one" she says "2." We don't know why that is the only one she says, but it is and we usually laugh at her when she says it.

This video is of her being a big girl drinking out of a cup while her mom is trying to take yet another picture. She is so hard to get a good picture of now because as soon as the camera is out she is moving. She thinks she is taking a good picture because she does say "Cheese." However, she isn't looking at the camera. After she says cheese, I have her say what because it is so funny when she says it. It is cute now when you say her name and she says it, but soon she will be getting in trouble for throwing attitude behind it. We are sure of it.

This video is hard to see, but Brett and my dad kept thinking it would be funny to feed Braelynn sour candy. Well they gave her a little piece and it was SO funny. We all died laughing. The funny part was is she kept taking more and more. Finally I went and got the camera, but her face was not near as funny as it was the 1st time.

Braelynn loves books. She has started loving them so much she will just sit by herself and play with them. Sometimes she just sits and mumbles stuff to herself as she turns each page. It is like she is reading it to herself. She will do this for hours if she doesn't think anyone is watching her. You see her look up every now and then to check and see if anyone is watching. We kept thinking she saw us with the camera because she looked right at it.

Go Cowboys!!

Last Weekend we decided to head to Laramie for football game with my parents. I was not excited to go because I knew I would be staying in the hotel room playing with Braelynn with the weather being bad. Plus it sucks making Braelynn ride over there and back for as long as we stay there. However, Brett wanted to go and he talked me into going. I am glad I did now. Brett and everyone had so much fun at the game and Braelynn got to go swimming, so of course she loved the weekend too. Braelynn loves to swim if you don't already know. Actually she loves any kind of water. It was so fun to watch her go from the hot tub and back to the pool without even crying when she got in the freezing pool. She didn't even make a face, but her dad sure did. He said he wasn't playing that game, but guess who ended up doing it anyway. Sorry I don't have many picture and the few I do have didn't turn out great, but I thought I would share anyway.

Happy Halloween!!

Happy Halloween!!
We are getting so excited for Halloween. It will be so fun to let Braelynn dress up and participate this year. She will love showing off I will post more pictures of her in her whole costume after Halloween. She is so funny when she puts on her costume. She makes a cute little elephant sound and everything. We can NOT wait to take her Trick-or-Treating.
We were also getting excited for Halloween because we thought we might be in our house, but it doesn't seem like that is the case now:( Now we might not even be able to close on time. Everyone keep your fingers crossed for us.
Hope you enjoy the pictures. Sorry she wouldn't put down her toothbrush for me to take pictures of her.

Happy Anniversary!!!

So today is our 2 year anniversary. We can NOT believe it. It seems like we just got married and found out that we were having a baby. Time flies way too fast. We really have been together for almost 6 1/2 years now so celebrating our anniversary isn't a big thing to us. We still always do something even though we say we won't.
This year for our anniversary we swore we wouldn't do anything or give each other anything and save the money for the house. However, Brett surprised me at work with some pretty flowers & little does he know he has a present at home waiting. So we broke the no present rule and what do you know we also made dinner reservations at Bon Rico for tonight. I love Brett so much and I know he loves me just as much. We both hope we keep our love going for 50 more years. Our love is something truly special in our eyes.

House Update

Hey lots of little stuff has been going on at the house. It is hard to get in and see the changes because there is usually always people in there working so we only have a few pictures. They have our outside rock on and garage doors. They have also put in our retaining walls. Right now they are laying tile, putting up molding, & installing closet shelves. They are also preparing to paint in the next ten days. We are getting so excited. Sorry there isn't many pictures.

Sorry the tile is hard to see because it is so dark.

This is our retaining wall they just put in.

Getting SO SO big!!

Braelynn is getting so big. Her grandpa & grandma Morrison gave her a potty for future use, but she goes and sits on it now. She never actually goes but it is cute to watch back up to the toilet and sit down. She also has learned to lay down in the bath tub and swish her hair. She thinks it is so fun. We finally got a little video of it for you to see. She also is talking a lot. Most the time it is just mumbles and we have no idea what she is saying. But is so fun to watch her cute little personality come out and sometimes the not so cute one comes out. Like when she shakes her finger and says "No No No" right back at me. It is so fun to watch her grow and wish everyone could share in this time with us. Sorry it is blurry.

Update

Hey everyone! Sorry it has been so long since I have put pictures on here. We are all doing good. We are just extremely busy.
I thought I better put some pictures of our house on here because it has been going along so fast. So right now our cabinets are being built. The guy is taping and getting ready to texture on Friday. We have to pick out our lights and everything else. I finally took pictures again.

Outside!!

Braelynn loves to go outside and play, especially with the dogs and horses. After she has had her bath and her pajamas on, we don't let her go outside. So she gets mad and stands at the window screaming Sasha and Daisy. It is so funny. She can't quite reach the front window either, so she has figured out how to climb on her train to see out the front window to see the horses. We had to share these pictures of her looking out the window.

TV Fanatic!

So Brett and I feel like awful parents sometimes because Braelynn loves TV. We feel bad because she loves to watch her dvd player and we let her a lot. However we feel okay because we do take it away and make her play with her toys for most the day. We had to put a couple pictures on here because when Braelynn watches her cartoons she acts like such a big girl. When you see her watching her cartoons, you would think she was older.

Besides watching cartoons everyday this week, we also had to say good-bye to Uncle Austin. He headed back to Laramie for school. Of course, Braelynn had to help him pack. Okay maybe it wasn't so much help, but we know he loved having her there with him. As he packed, she would pull stuff back out. She just wanted him to stay. I had to put this picture on here because one of the things she pulled out, was this wig that he wears to games and we put it on for her to wear. She looked so cute in it. We enjoy our little girl so much and love to take pictures of her.

Slow Slow Slow Process

They haven't done much on our house latley. It seems like it slowed down a lot in the past couple weeks. However the plumber and the heater people have been working on the inside for the past few weeks. Also later this week they are supposed to pour our driveways and patios. Here are a few pictures. We thought we should show a few updates since it has been a while.

Florida

We started back to work today and realized how much we miss Florida. Our vacation was so fun. Baby Brady was so cute and fun to see. He made us a little baby hungry, but we know we need to wait a little longer.

We just wish we could describe how cute Brady is. We have pictures on here, but they do NOT do him justice. He is so tiny and such a happy baby.

Braelynn was unsure of Brady and Uncle Brad for the first couple days, but by Saturday when it was time to go she loved them. We miss Katie, Brad and the baby so much already. We are dying to see them. We wish we could see them before November.

Grandma Kris was also down in Florida while we were down there. Of course Braelynn loved her right off the bat. She misses her so much when she sees her she won't let her out of her sight to even go to the bathroom. Grandpa Randy had went home the day before we got there. We are so sad we didn't get to see him. It has been so long and we know he misses us too, but hopefully we can get to see him soon. We miss and love him so much and it has been almost 2 months..

Florida was so fun. We can not even thank Mom and Dad enough for helping us be able to go. It meant so much to us. We were so upset when we thought we couldn't see Brady until he was 4 months old. Seriously we owe you so much mom and dad, and this trip meant so much to us. We can not even describe to you how thankful we are. We love you guys so much and hope we can repay you some day.

We hope you enjoy are pictures. Braelynn loved playing at the pool at Brad and Katie's appartment, so there are quite a few of us at the pool. We only went to the beach for a little while because of the rain. Braelynn hated the sand, but loved the water so we were able to get a few pictures. The rest are of our plane ride and of Brady. There are a few of Braelynn and Brady together but not many.

Pig wrestling!!

Wednesday night my sister and some girls see worked with were entered in the pig wrestling contest so Braelynn and I went with my parents to watch while Brett was playing in leagues. They are so funny to watch. My sister's team won last year so they were sure they would win again this year. We told them no way could they do it 2 years in a row. They however proved us wrong.

Uinta County Fair

Tuesday night after work Brett, me, Braelynn and Austin decided to go to the fair and grab dinner and show Braelynn the animals. She was so cute. She would say what the animals said when we went past them. She had lots of fun as long as she was being held. If she was walking or in the stroller she was screaming. That was probably because her dad put her stroller face first into the pigpen and the pink starting oinking and scared her to death right at the very beginning. We were silly and took pictures of the animals and everything. It was like we were kids again too.

Waiting on a Roof!

Our house finally has all the interior walls up. We have just been waiting of the materials to come in so they could do the roof. They actually started the roof today that is how far behind I am on blogging. I added pictures and if you hit play on the slideshow I wrote what the room would eventually be. It is hard to see on here. We are getting really excited even though we know the process will slow down even more after we have our roof on.

Moore Family Reunion

Last weekend we went up to the Barker's campsite for the Moore Family Reunion. It was so fun to watch Braelynn play with all the other kids, even though they were way older than her.
After the weekend we all 3 went home so wore out. We ate so much food and played so many games we could hardly move. We played volleyball, holly board, cowboy golf, Johnny's chip game, & horseshoes. We were gamed out after the weekend.

BRADY IS HERE! BRADY IS HERE! FINALLY BRADY IS HERE!

Brady Morrison was born on July 26th at 1:01pm (11:01 our time) He was 20.5 inches and 7lbs. 12oz. We are so excited he is here. Brad and Katie seriously have the cutest little boy. I put a few pictures that they sent us on here. As soon as I get better ones I will put them on here. These are hard to see because these are with a camera phone. We just wish we were there to see him NOW! We hate missing out on all this stuff.
We missed out on them telling us Katie was in labor too because we were at the Moore family reunion with no phone reception. We were so upset. We thought we missed Brady's birth by like 2 days, but we only missed it by a couple hours.
It was so cute listening to Brett and Brad share their first daddy stories together on the phone. I just wish we lived closer so they could do it in person. I know Brett misses him a ton.
Congratulations Brad and Katie! You have the cutest baby and we know you will be the best parents ever. We can't wait to meet Brady. We love all three of you very much.
I know I have way more to blog about that happened before this, but this is so exciting we had to get it on here. We couldn't wait any longer. We wanted everyone to see our adorable nephew.
